The Great New Shoe Curse of the Buffalo Runners has struck again!
For the last several months, it seems every time one of my running buddies buys a new pair of shoes, the maiden voyage in them always ends in some kind of weather disaster.
I buy new shoes and storm of epic proportion has just happened, flooding the area where we run. Mud pits for days!
Laura buys new shoes and a downpour occurs mid run.
Alan buys new shoes and we get caught in another mid run deluge (and most of the city floods).
Robin buys new shoes and we get caught in a nice little, early morning shower.
RAIN! What is your deal?
